i felt compelled to create this blog with the thought of all those who have helped me as i continue my journey of cake decorating. if not for those creative minds who were brave enough to put themselves out there i would not have learned so many wonderful things or been as inspired as i am. i am just starting on my path to greatness! 2007 - I Do Believe in Fairies

My Littlie loves Tinkerbell and all things fairy. For her birthday I tried a new frosting recipe, swiss meringue buttercream. It tasted different from my regular frosting - obviously - and it went over pretty well. It keeps a nice shine and I think this could come in handy on future cakes when I want that effect. Very simple cake, nothing fancy, but she loved it! Well....maybe the little Tinkerbell fairy was what she loved!!!!
