i felt compelled to create this blog with the thought of all those who have helped me as i continue my journey of cake decorating. if not for those creative minds who were brave enough to put themselves out there i would not have learned so many wonderful things or been as inspired as i am. i am just starting on my path to greatness! (ha ha!) i hope to document my progress through this blog. give out tips i have learned. make more connections with the decorating world. and perhaps someday give someone a little inspiration myself. so welcome and thank you for stopping by!

2009 - Handy Manny

My Littlie was so funny that year for her birthday! Friend party was so girlie with fairies and flowers and butterflies. But for the family party she wanted Handy Manny. I just happened to find the rest of his tools on clearance at Wally-World and snagged 'em up.I just didn't have the times to make them out of fondant - plus now she has a complete set. Handy Manny caused me some stress: trying to keep the handle pieces together with the rest of the cake. But once again Sweet Knees jumped in to save the day! Most of the time my cakes look presentable thanks to him!
