This cake is special to me because it was made with so much love for my mom. She was an incredible dancer, receiving ballet scholarships to prestigious schools. She was also diagnosed with breast cancer years ago. After some years in remission the evil that is cancer showed itself again, this time all through her body. She is a survivor. She is a miracle from God. She is an inspiration. She is my best friend and closest confidant. I do not know what I will do when the Lord calls her home. This cake was made for her birthday, marking another year we were blessed to have her with us. Pink being the color for Breast Cancer Awareness and the ballet for a passion of hers.
